Terms
These terms cover the Canteen Board service. The post is responsible for what it puts on its board.
Trial and price
A new board includes a 60-day trial. At sign-up the post chooses invoice or card. After the trial, that is how the post is billed. Prices for veteran posts and for fraternal organizations, including a founding price when one is still open, are listed on the home page. This site does not run a self-serve card checkout. The operator sends the invoice, or takes the card the post named, outside this page. An admin can ask for a billing change from the desk Billing page.
Cancellation and deletion
An admin can cancel from the officer desk. The television pauses. We keep the data for 90 days so the post can export it, then we delete it. The same 90 days start when an unpaid trial ends. Marking a board paid during that window restores it, unless an officer already cancelled. A cancel is not undone by a later paid mark. The details are on the privacy page.
The operator may suspend a board, or delete it immediately, for abuse or for operations. Immediate deletion does not wait 90 days.
Photo storage
Your board keeps your newest 2,000 photos. Older ones are removed automatically. Mark a photo Keep to hold on to it. Photos in an album that is on the television are kept too. If those protected photos alone are over the limit, we stop and the desk tells the officers. The limit can be different on another plan. We keep resized copies of each photo for the board and do not keep the original file.
Acceptable use
The post owns the events, photographs, notes, and other content on its board. Do not post illegal content. We may suspend or delete a board that does.
